What does vete a la mierda mean?

ExpressionFuerte

get lost — literally “go to shit”

A rejection rather than an instruction. Between friends it arrives right after a provocation and means roughly “oh, shut up”; said flatly to somebody you are actually angry with, it means what it says.

—Te toca pagar. —¡Vete a la mierda!
Nobody is offended. It is doing the same job as laughing.

Hear it the way Spain actually says it

In the app, expressions are taught inside real conversations from Spain: read cold, explained line by line, then read again. It’s the Spanish textbooks leave out.
